Additional date for examination

Decree No. 60 by the Rector of Nicolaus Copernicus University in Toruń from 15 March 2021on additional date for examination in the winter semester of academic year 2020/2021.

Pursuant to § 52 (3) of Resolution No. 37 of the Senate of the Nicolaus Copernicus University of Toruń of 16 April 2019. Statute of the Nicolaus Copernicus University in Toruń (NCU Legal Bulletin of 2019, item 120 as amended) in relation to the Regulation of the Minister of Education and Science of February 25, 2021 on the temporary restriction of the operation of certain entities of the system of higher education and science in connection with the prevention, counteraction and combating of COVID-19 (Journal of Laws of 2021, item 363) it is provided, as follows:                                                                           

§1

  1. On study programs in which, by the Decree No. 231 by the Rector of Nicolaus Copernicus University of 23 October 2020 amending the decree on preventing the spread of SARS-CoV-2 virus among the members of Nicolaus Copernicus University in Toruń, in the red zone (NCU Legal Bulletin of 2020, item 374), annual evaluation was introduced for the academic year 2020/21 instead of previously conducted term evaluation, it is acceptable to conduct examinations which were due the end of winter semester on an additional, third, date.
  2. The decision to conduct such an examination shall be made by the Dean of the Faculty at the student's request submitted by 22 March 2021.
  3. The grade obtained by the student during the additional examination is the final grade in the course, regardless of the grade obtained during previous examinations.

§2

The decree comes into force on 15 March 2021, having obtained a positive opinion for Students’ Government on 13 March 2021.
