Evaluation of courses in Doctoral Schools
A pilot evaluation of courses taught in Doctoral Schools throughout the 2025/2026 academic year will run through September 30, 2026. Every completed survey is crucial to improving the quality of doctoral education.
Starting July 1, NCU doctoral students will be able to evaluate the individual courses they took during the 2025/2026 academic year. The survey involves completing questionnaires that will be available after logging in to the USOS account or the app. The collected results help instructors improve their work and enable university administrators and doctoral school directors to refine the educational process and recognise the best teachers.
Through these surveys, you can express your opinion about classes not only using a closed rating scale - the questionnaire also allows you to add a written comment. The person completing the survey decides whether to keep the comment visible to the lecturer. Hidden comments will go directly to the school directors. This option should be used primarily when no other methods of reporting issues are available. Open comments will also be visible to lecturers - this is an opportunity to let them know that their work is appreciated and to highlight what was particularly important during the teaching process. The entire survey, regardless of whether comments are visible or private, is anonymous.
It's worth noting that the current version of the USOS app is available on Google Play or the App Store under the name “Mobilny USOS 2.0." After launching the app, a list of universities will appear; select Nicolaus Copernicus University in Toruń and log in via the Central Authentication Service.
