Rector- Elect Prof. dr habil. Andrzej Tretyn conferred the appointments to the deans elected for the term 2024-2028.

The ceremony took place on 20th May 2024 at the NCU's Collegium Maximum. Rector- Elect Prof. dr hab. Andrzej Tretyn appointed as deans the persons indicated in last week's vote (15-16 May). Academic staff, engineering and technical staff, deanery staff and student representatives of a given faculty who are members of the electoral college elected their faculty dean.

The two faculties that did not submit their candidates (in view of their failure to meet the requirements set out in § 64(6) of the NCU Statute), i.e. the Faculty of Philosophy and Social Sciences and the Faculty of Health Sciences, had their new dean authorities named by the Rector-Elect.

For the deans of the Faculty of Physics, Astronomy and Informatics, the Faculty of Humanities and the Faculty of Biological and Veterinary Sciences, the forthcoming term will be the second. The other faculties will be headed by new people.
