Adam Kola
The University of Würzburg is an institution with an impressive history and Nobel Prize winners. It is currently a dynamic centre for cutting-edge scientific research, with interdisciplinary clusters of excellence, modern laboratories and pioneering methods. The visit allowed the NCU delegation to visit research teams, faculties and the university hospital, clearly showing numerous areas of common interest and the potential for further cooperation.
Prof. Adam Kola emphasised that this is a strategic and long-term cooperation. Both universities share a commitment to scientific excellence, a strong position among European research universities and a similar context of functioning in their cities – Würzburg and Toruń. This is a solid foundation for future projects and joint development.
