A gathering of all beings

On June 23, the Copernican Integration Center invites everyone to "A gathering of all beings" - a workshop on deep ecology, through which you will learn to look closely at the organisms living around you. The workshop is open to adults and children with adults.

The workshop is based, among other things, on exercises from the book , "Thinking Like a Mountain". The class will be led by Paulina Jeziorek, cultural studies and urban gardener, and Artur Kokorzycki, cultural animator.

During the workshop we will:

  • look at the area around the Edible Garden and the Copernican Integration Center,
  • perform exercises that will facilitate our encounter with different organisms and sensitize us to their needs,
  • try to sharpen our senses, activate our imagination with visualization,
  • make masks to form a circle called the "A gathering of all beings" and speak on behalf of each organism in the finale,
  • get into the pulsating rhythm of nature to the beat of the drum.

The meeting will take place from 4:00 to 7:00 pm in the garden of the Copernican Integration Center. Participation is free, the number of places is limited. Registration is required: jadalnyogrodkoi@umk.pl. In case of inclement weather, the organizer reserves the right to cancel the event.
