Lecture by prof. Andrzej Dragan
On June 25 at 7:00 p.m., the CKK Jordanki will host a lecture by prof. Andrzej Dragan titled "Is Wave Function Collapse a Fiction?". The lecture is part of the 57th edition of the European Conference on Atomic Systems, organized by researchers from the Institute of Physics at Nicolaus Copernicus University, the Aleksander Jabłoński Foundation and the European Physical Society. Free admission tickets are required.
The event will provide an opportunity to explore one of the most intriguing problems in quantum mechanics. Prof. Dragan, one of the most prominent physicists in Polish science, will address the question of what wave function collapse actually is: a real physical process, an element of mathematical description, or perhaps a convenient fiction resulting from the limitations of our understanding.
The lecture is aimed at a broad audience, including both those involved in science and anyone interested in physics, the philosophy of science, and questions about the nature of reality.
The event will take place on June 25 at 7:00 p.m. at CKK Jordanki. Admission is free. Advance ticket reservations are required via the website dragan.bookero.pl.
