The Pierogi Problem

The Culinary Heritage Centre at the Faculty of History of Nicolaus Copernicus University invites you to a meeting with Professor Fabio Parasecoli from New York University and Dr Agata Bachórz from the University of Gdańsk. The meeting will take place on 13 October at 4:30 p.m.

During the meeting, the speakers will talk about their many years of research on Poles' attitudes towards food and their own struggles with Polish and non-Polish cuisine. The topic of the meeting refers to the publication "The Pierogi Problem. Cosmopolitan Appetites and the Reinvention of Polish Food".

The meeting will take place on 13 October at 4:30 p.m. at Collegium Humanisticum (ul. Bojarskiego 1) in room C.039 on the ground floor. Admission to the event is free.
