
YUFE Academy: Can we trust courts?
"Can we trust courts?" - will be the topic of an international panel of experts and practitioners organised as part of the YUFE Academy series. The meeting will be held on May 23 from 10 a.m. to 12 p.m. The discussion will be moderated by Prof. Maciej Serowaniec, dean of the Faculty of Law and Administration at NCU.
Can we trust the courts? What when we suspect bias in an institution that was supposed to be impartial? The crisis in the Polish judiciary has been talked about for years. It has been written about in the pages of newspapers, both in Poland as well as outside the country. And what kind of public trust do courts enjoy in Europe?

The event is organised as part of the YUFE Academy, a series of open lectures held at partner universities affiliated with the Young Universities for the Future of Europe alliance. The program, in addition to a debate on the judiciary, includes a lecture on AI in the prevention of dementia, as well as the need to archive memes.
