A botanical walk with dr Sara Orzechowska

Copernican Integration Centre invites you to join them on a herbal walk, during which you will learn about the plants. You will find out how to recognize them, what you can get from them, how to process them, and what to use them for - in home medicine, cooking, and cosmetics.

During the event traditional herbal knowledge, folk wisdom, and folklore will be combined with the latest scientific findings, botanical and biological knowledge, giving you the opportunity to get to know the full ethnobotanical picture of the plants around us.

Dr Sara Orzechowska, graduate of Nicolaus Copernicus University and author of the book “Women and plants in Polish folklore”, has been involved in ethnobotany, herbalism, and folklore for nine years. She is also a trained herbalist-phytotherapist and a certified herbalist.
