After a two-year break, the Student Government invites you to celebrate the student festival on 20 and 21 May 2022. The theme of this year's Piernikalia will be "Back to the Future".

In the events programme, the first attractions are already scheduled for Wednesday afternoon. From 7 p.m. a table football tournament will be played in the NRD club. On the following day, male and female students of the Collegium Medicum will take part in a city game called 'Kierunek: Piernikalia' ['Direction: Piernikalia']. The task for those taking part in the event is to cover a designated route as quickly as possible and complete as many tasks as possible in the meantime. From 20:00 DJ Seli will take care of the good mood at the official before party in the Laba.

Rector's hours will be in force all day on Friday, and the Student Government has prepared numerous activities from early morning. In the area next to the Students' House no. 9 there will be, among others, a beerpong tournament, a game of dodgeball and a skipping competition. The Piernikalia cannot take place without the traditional student parade, which will set off on Friday at 15:00 from the Student House No. 5 towards the university campus in Bielany. On Saturday the day will begin with breakfast on the grass between the student halls of residence. Many team games await male and female students that day, including a traditional mud match, beer run, tug-of-war and a water balloon battle.

On Friday and Saturday, there will also be plenty of musical events. On 20th May, Mery Spolsky, Bitamina, Organek, After Party and Brathanki will perform on the main stage at Collegium Humanisticum. On Saturday, Tomigun, Gosia Andrzejewicz, Elektryczne Gitay, Smolasty, Robodrom and Ronnie Ferrari will play. You can check the schedule of concerts on the Piernikalia's facebook page.

Admission to the 2022 Piernikalia festival is free. This year's event will have a unique, charitable character. During the concerts, the screen will display the account number to which you can donate money to support the Ukrainian academic community. Contributions can be made by anyone at any time to the Amicus Universitatis Nicolai Copernici Foundation account number 56 1140 2017 0000 4502 0345 2695 with the title "Darowizna Ukraina" (“Donation Ukraine").
