500 tulips will grow around the Copernican Integration Centre in spring. The action of planting flower bulbs with Erasmus+ students was organised by the NCU's Department for International Partnerships and Educational Mobility.

On 24 October, in the area around the Copernican Integration Centre, students from Turkey, France, Greece and Iran, under the watchful eye of the city gardener Paulina Jeziorek, took part in an action of planting tulips. Together they prepared the soil, dug deep enough holes into which they placed the bulbs.

So far, five varieties of flowers have been planted, with colours ranging from yellow and lilac to red and burgundy. The tulips in spring will form the shape of a daisy, as suggested by the students working in the garden.
