The Nicolaus Copernicus University in Toruń will present its programmes to the younger generation of Poles living abroad during the second edition of Polonia_Camp, which will take place in Warsaw from 23 to 26 July.

Polonia_Camp is a global gathering of young Poles living abroad, aimed at fostering integration, engagement and the promotion of young Poles living outside the country. The event's mission is to build a global community based on Polish identity, culture and heritage, as well as to strengthen intergenerational ties and develop international cooperation within Polish diaspora youth communities.

The event brings together students, prospective students, young professionals, leaders of Polish diaspora communities and community activists from nearly 50 countries. The first edition attracted around 1,000 participants, whilst around 1,500 people are expected to attend the second edition.

The Polonia_Camp programme includes discussions, workshops and presentations focusing on the achievements of contemporary Polish science, culture and the economy. There will also be an area where visitors can find out about educational and career opportunities, including study programmes in Poland. There will also be plenty of entertainment, including concerts and social activities.

For the NCU, taking part in the event is, above all, an opportunity to reach out directly to an international group of potential students. The event enables the university to present its range of degree programmes, doctoral schools, scholarships and international programmes to those interested in education and career development in Poland. Attending Polonia_Camp also strengthens the university's image as an institution open to international cooperation and the Polish community abroad, and increases its visibility within Polish community circles.

The event will take place from 23 to 26 July on the SGGW campus in Warsaw. More information
