One month of remote learning
From 11 December to 9 January, classes at the Nicolaus Copernicus University in Toruń will, as a rule, take place remotely.
The changes are introduced by the Rector's Order No. 242 on extraordinary measures of organization of education at Nicolaus Copernicus University in Toruń.

Pursuant to art. 50.1 of the Legal Act of 20 July 2018 Law on Higher Education and Science (Journal of Laws of 2021, item. 478 as amended.) and art 52.3 of the Resolution no. 37 of the Senate of the NCU of 16 April 2019 of Statutes of the Nicolaus Copernicus University in Toruń (NCU Legal Bulletin of 2019, item 120 as amended) it is provided, as follows:
§1
- In the period from 11 December 2021 to 9 January 2022, classes at Nicolaus Copernicus University in Toruń shall be conducted using the methods and techniques of distance learning in synchronous mode, while ensuring the possibility of interaction between the teacher and students in real time, subject to sections 2 and 3.
- During the period referred to in paragraph 1, practical classes in regulated medical courses shall be held on the premises of the University, the University Hospital or other healthcare institution, should the epidemic situation and the regulations in force at these institutions allow it.
- The classes referred to in paragraph 1 shall not be included into the point limit defined in Order No. 162 by the Rector of Nicolaus Copernicus University in Toruń of 1 July 2021 on delegation and teaching classes using methods and techniques of distance learning at Nicolaus Copernicus University in Toruń (NCU Legal Bulletin of 2021, item. 269).
§2
The order becomes effective as of 1 December 2021.
