Registration for university-wide courses
On 21 September at 12:00 noon, registration for university-wide courses in the winter semester of the 2026/2027 academic year will begin. Registration will remain open until 11 October.
Registration for classes takes place in the USOS system.
In the 2026/2027 academic year, the Nicolaus Copernicus University will once again offer competency blocks, i.e., sets of 4 to 6 thematically coherent courses, the completion of which will lead to the acquisition of interpersonal, social, personal, and digital competencies that are key in the labour market. Completion of a block is confirmed by a certificate issued before the end of the studies. Completion of a block will be confirmed by a certificate issued before the end of studies. As a competence block is just a group of selected university-wide courses, choosing one or two subjects does not obligate you to complete all of them (for the 2025/2026 academic year, it's Polish language only).

Registration will remain open until 5 March 5, at 11:59 p.m. If you have any questions or concerns about university-wide courses, contact the appropriate person in your department. A list of coordinators is available on the website. Technical issues should be reported to usos@umk.pl.
