YUFE Joint Bachelor with 7 universities on the diploma
YUFE is launching the Joint Bachelor in Urban Sustainability Studies, a three-year programme culminating in a diploma issued by 7 European universities. The programme includes two semester-long mobilities to partner universities.
Set to begin in the academic year 2025/2026, this innovative programme*, developed by the Young Universities for the Future of Europe (YUFE) alliance, aims to prepare a new generation to tackle urgent environmental challenges faced by urban and rural areas. Aiming for graduates to become leaders in sustainable urban development throughout Europe.
This unique three-year degree will offer students the opportunity to engage with sustainability issues in diverse European contexts, providing them with a comprehensive, hands-on education. Participants will explore solutions to the most urgent urban and rural sustainability challenges while earning a joint Bachelor's degree, recognized by seven top universities within the YUFE network.
The programme provides a dynamic and flexible educational experience. Students can start their studies at any of the seven partner universities. During the first year, they will focus on foundational skills and knowledge. In the second and third years, the programme can be personalized by selecting course modules (YUFE Minors) from 10 universities. Courses can be tailored to individual strengths and interests, with a guidance from an academic advisors. Students not only choose their academic focus but also their study destinations, gaining international experience by studying at multiple locations across Europe. The programme culminates in a bachelor's thesis, showcasing students' expertise in urban sustainability.

National recognition is in progress in all countries of the degree-awarding partners.
