YUFE Talk Show from Rome
The next event of the YUFE Talk Shows, a series of events promoting entrepreneurship and innovation, will take place on 24 September.
The YUFE Entrepreneurial Talk Shows allow the participant to learn from the experience and advice of an expert in a specific area of the European Entrepreneurship Competence Framework (EntreComp) to promote an entrepreneurial mindset. The talks will be held monthly and will be organised by each of the YUFE universities. The entrepreneurial talk shows are organised in two parts: the first part is open to everyone and the second part is focused on YUFE students where they will be able to interact in a closer way with the speaker. The talk entitled "Prioritise, organise and follow-up will", organised by Tor Vergata University in Rome, will begin at 10.00 a.m. and run until 12.30 a.m.
Speakers:
- Prof. Massimiliano M. Schiraldi - Associate Professor in Operations & Supply Chain Management, PhD in Engineering and Management, MBA, he teaches at Tor Vergata University in Rome since 2000. Guest Professor in China, Ireland, and the UK, Italian Delegate to ISO Technical Committees on Industrial Automation, he is also co-editor and area editor of two important international journals. He authored more than 100 scientific publications and has supervised more than 200 students in their thesis work on top of more than 15 PhDs.
- Dr. Alessio Giuiusa - Process Improvement Director Europe and, previously, General Manager at Amazon where he has been working for 7 years. Management engineer, he earned a degree, an MBA, and a PhD from Tor Vergata University of Rome, also carrying out a visiting period at the IBM Research Center in California. He taught Industrial and Environmental Engineering for three years at the Catholic University in Rome. Previously he worked as Quality & Project Manager in EFM and as a consultant in Cap Gemini.
- Mr. Alessandro Di Pietro - Global Technology Platform Leader and Director at Johnson & Johnson, where he has worked for 31 years. Mechanical engineer, before joining JnJ he worked as a researcher at the Materials Development Research Center in Italy. Specialized in industrial liquid production engineering, he designs and manages Process Improvement, Continuous Improvement, Operational Improvement, OEE improvement, and Operations Management projects as well as Transformational Process Innovation.
