Polish language more familiar
Over 430 people from Ukraine will make use of free Polish courses organized by the Faculty of Humanities of Nicolaus Copernicus University in Toruń.
The courses will be taught at two locations: in NCU Collegium Maius (the location of the Faculty of Humanities) and at a Primary School in Złotoria, where 60 people will be learning Polish.
The course's program includes 30 hours of learning the basics, conducted in the mode of two or three meetings a week, 2 lesson hours each. The classes will be taught by 33 volunteers: language teachers from the NCU Culture and Polish Language for Foreigners Center and associates, as well as academic teachers from the Institute of Language Studies and the Institute of Literature Studies of the Faculty of Humanities, along with students and doctoral, students.
So far, 33 groups have been formed (12-15 people each): for children, youth and adults, since the age of the participants is very diverse – from 3 to 75.
Enrollment for the course is possible via the e-mail address skjpo@umk.pl, with the possibility to join a group being dependent on the availability of free places.

Понад 430 людей з України скористаються безкоштовними курсами польської мови, організованими Гуманітарним факультетом Університету Миколая Коперника в Торуні.
Курси проводитимуться у двох місцях: у Collegium Maius UMK (місцезнаходження Гуманітарного факультету) та у початковій школі у Злоторії, де польську мову вивчатимуть 60 осіб.
Програма курсів включає 30 годин навчання з нуля, вона буде реалізована у такій структурі: по 2 академічні години у двох-трьох зустрічах на тиждень. Заняття проводитимуть 33 волонтери: викладачі Центру польської культури та мови для іноземців УМК та його співробітники, академічні викладачі Інституту мовознавства та Інституту літератури Гуманітарного факультету, а також аспіранти та студенти.
Наразі створено 33 групи (по 12-15 осіб): для дітей молодшого віку, дітей старшого віку та дорослих, оскільки вік учасників дуже різний – від 3-х до 75-ти років.
