The NCU Department of Promotion and Communication invites you to join in the pre-Christmas fun and announces a competition in which the University community will be able to show off an unconventional Christmas tree at their place of study or work.

The competition is open to teams from faculties, deans' offices, institutes, university units, dormitories, local governments, scientific circles and other self-organised groups of people studying and working at the NCU who create an unusual Christmas tree in their place of work or study.

To enter the competition, send a photo of the Christmas tree to promocja@umk.pl by 15 December 2024, as well as information on the name and team involved in preparing the tree, the location of the tree and contact details (to arrange a short photo shoot). Between 9 and 18 December, a university photographer will arrive at the proposed groups to take a photo of the Christmas tree and a joint photo of those involved in the project.

Each team that takes part in the campaign will receive a framed Christmas photo as a souvenirAndrzej Romański

Each team that takes part in the campaign will receive a framed Christmas photo as a souvenir, and the most interesting Christmas tree, chosen by a jury of the NCU Department of Promotion and Communication, will receive a reward in the form of cinema tickets and university socks for the whole team. In addition, a gallery of all the decorated trees will be published on the university-general Facebook fanpage on 19-20 December.

Through virtual votes (likes and hearts), cast until 20 December 2024 at 12:00, the winner of the Public Choice Award will be selected.
