Mirosław Ziętarski, together with his teammates from the rowing crew - Dominik Czaja, Fabian Barański and Mateusz Biskup - beat all their rivals in the double four competition with a time of 05:40.08. They were in full control of the race from the very beginning.
The podium was complemented by the representation of Great Britain, who covered the distance with a time of 5:40.97, and Italy, who finished the run with a time of 5:42.14.

Mirosław Ziętarski - a student of the Faculty of Political Sciences and Security Studies at the Nicolaus Copernicus University in Toruń - is a very successful athlete. In his rowing career, he can boast such achievements as the European championship and vice-championship or the silver and bronze medals of the World Championships (2017 and 2019). The NCU AZS Toruń athlete made his Olympic Games debut in Rio de Janeiro in 2016, where, swimming in the double four, he finished fourth. He finished his performance at the Tokyo Olympic Games (in the double fours) in 6th place.
