Spend your Christmas with a Polish family
With international students in mind, who will spend the Christmas season in Poland away from their families, the NCU International Point and the Centre for Medical Education in English at NCU Collegium Medicum in Bydgoszcz are organizing the initiative “Invite an IP or ED student for Christmas."
The initiative gives NCU students, staff members, and their families the opportunity to invite an international student to spend part of the holiday period together — during Christmas Eve, a festive meal, or any other form of meeting. The project promotes intercultural relations, mutual understanding, and breaking down stereotypes, while also allowing hosts to present Polish customs and hospitality. It is possible that some of these holiday encounters will grow into long-lasting friendships.
“This is an opportunity to spend Christmas in an exceptional way, meet someone interesting from another country, and share Polish traditions with them," say the initiators of the project.

The University authorities, the NCU Copernican Integration Centre, and the English Division of the NCU Collegium Medicum encourage the academic community to take part in the initiative.
Who are IP and ED students?
- IP student – an international student studying at the Toruń campus of UMK (IP – International Point).
- ED student – a student studying in English at the NCU Collegium Medicum in Bydgoszcz (ED – English Division).
